So many people have tried on their own without any or very little success. This is due to the lack of scientifically targeting and isolating each muscle group of the abdomen. The abdomen is comprised of four superficial muscles: the obliques externus, the obliques internus, the transversalis, and the rectus abdominis. Knowing this anatomical makeup is important for the development of a scientifically sound abdominal routine, one that is targeted and efficient. <em> </em></span></h2>

<h2><span style="color: #0000ff;">Some of the more popular abdominal exercises tend to place great resistance on the hip flexors such as Roman Chair sit-ups, straight leg lifts with iron boots, or straight leg situps with the legs stabilized or held. Using these exercises force the hip flexors to pull the pelvis forward, which tends to cause excessive pelvic tilt and can eventually lead to a lifetime of lower back pain. We will be eliminating all of these exercises. <strong>All four muscle groups of the abdomen must be worked individually with controlled quality movements for truly outstanding abdominal development.</strong></span></h2>
